Hi All
I have a 2006 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 TRD Sport auto, it has about 140k and today the engine stalled while I was on the freeway doing about 70MPH, I pulled over to the shoulder cranked the motor but it would not fire. Nothing out of the ordinary, Coolant, Gas and oil are fine. I suspect the fuel pump but not sure, Currently it's in the shop but wont be troubleshot until tomorrow, anyone experience a similar problem?

 

Sounds like you aren't getting fuel. Fuel pump would be my guess.

ill update the post as soon as I hear from my mechanic. I rented a nice G37 sedan in the meantime

 

I have the same truck but only have 70K on it. Hope I don't have the same thing happen.

Just brought my truck home, turned out to be a bad Fuel pump.

 

Woo! I was right! Glad it all got figured out!!
