fj40 paint job

I have a 1976 fj40 that is rust free except a little on the rear sill. I want it cut out and replaced and the truck painted inside and out as i will be selling it. I have all new tail lights marker lights weather stripping door panels head liner bumperettes dome light pedal rubbers ect the job will include sand blasting and painting 5 original wheels. What would be a fair price for a decent paint job?

Paint jobs are one of those things that can either run you $2k-$10k for a good paint job. It really depends on the shop you take it to and how much prep needs to happen. If you do most of the prep you will save tons. Also a "decent" paint job is subjective since some people consider a $500 earl sheib paint job "good" otherwise they wouldn't stay in business.

If its almost rust free and you're selling it - why paint it? Just "rust free" is a major selling point on an old Cruiser. Let the new owner drop the cash and they can choose the color. That would be my choice.
