Adapting a Trail Gear dual case crossmember for use with an auto

OK, long time no post, here goes....

I'm in the midst of a 3RZ swap on my rig (specs in sig), and I'm approaching the point where the new tranny must go in. However, since I am keeping the automatic behind the 3RZ (A340F), my crossmember options are limited. I could use the Front Range Off Road weld-in x-member, but it's expensive and I'm not to keen on the weld-in part. So I'm researching what it would take to get the Trail Gear dual case crossmember to mount up. I'm aware the tranny/frame mounts won't line up as configured, but what if I located it with the tranny and mounted it to the frame with oversized square u-bolts? Are the frame dimensions similar enough between auto and manual that the slots in the x-member would line up? Maybe (worst case scenario) I'd have to drill out the slots in the x-member a little more. Is there anything else I'm overlooking? Thanks!
