I have replaced my timing belt and all the marks line up except the 2 marks on the timing belt that are for the cam gears. The crank, left and right cam gears are all lined up but I cant seem to get the marks on the belt to line up with the cam gears. Should I worry about these marks? They are on off by 1 tooth to the right.

 

You are using as Toyota does:
Right = passenger side
Left = driver side

 

Facing the truck right to the driver side

 

No, driver side is left.

Toyota uses right and left on the engine as if you are sitting in the driver seat looking forward.

Thus:

Radiator
Left...................Right
Driver Side..........Passenger side

 

Thank you. I went back to read the manual and noticed that in the pictures. Flipped the belt around and it went together smoothly!!!
