85 4Runner grinding noise on turning

Ok guys, Im stuck on this one. I have had a slight grinding noise on my runner for as long as I have had it. It sounds like the tires are rubbing, but they were confirmed to not be. I recently upgraded to 33's and then took a 1000 mile trip to st george and back. . since I got back, the noise has become more prevalent and louder. The tires are not rubbing when the noise starts. It also seems like the noise is more prevalent if I havent driven for a while. if I start driving, it will make the noise around a normal right hand turn, but after a few minutes, it wont do it unless I am having to make a particularly sharp turn. Its only coming from the drivers side front tire, and on right hand turns. Any Ideas?

Bearings? Either wheel or trunnions possibly.

Is it a constant noise when the wheel is in the turned position or does it only make the noise when you are in the act of turning the steering wheel?

It will make the noise all the way through the turn. But like I said earlier. It gets better as I drive. So when its cold, it will make the noise anywhere from 2/3 lock and on, but once I have been driving, it sounds like 7/8 lock and on. (as in ive turned the when 7/8ths of its total travel)

The most perplexing part about it for me is that its only on right hand turns. I would think that if it was the bearings, then it would do it regardless of orientation.

haha.. Im retarded. just went out to take another look and noticed that the plastic liner/skirting that goes over the wheel well had gotten caught on the tire and bent up. bent it back and no more noise! Im so relieved. I am in the middle of finals right now and didnt know when I was gonna have the time before driving it home for the summer..
