im currently in the market to regear and from what I could gather 4.88s would be best.

but a set if 4.70 gears out of a t100 has practically fallen into my lap so im considering it

I just dont know if they will swap in, since the rear diff is 8.3" in the t100s



so do any of you smarter people know?

I was also trying to swap my lock right into it if that was possible

4.70 sounds like a transfer case ratio....

 

I know its far more common to be talking about a transfer case when talking about 4.70 gears

but from my understanding these are the front and rear differentials.


however, from what I just read they wont work, the t100 diff wont fit into my 8" housing
