I have been having and issue with my 86 turbo pickup. I have two problems that are hopefully related. The first is that the sparkplugs do not look as rich as they should. I have a narrow band 02 gauge that also is showing leaner than it used to. The second problem is that I can smell fuel under boost. it smells strong, like raw unburned fuel in the cab. This would lead me to believe that the cold start injector is leaking, but I can't see any sign of that. I also pulled out the charcoal canister and plugged the lines, but it still smells like fuel. I don't have any exhaust leaks before the 02 sensor either. I don't understand how it can smell so much like fuel, but running lean, unless it is leaking out somehow. I pinched the fuel return line to build up pressure also, but saw no signs of leakage or smell. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
