YES I HAVE SEARCHED ON HERE before i get all the people accusing me of not searching.
As i am doing the 3.4 swap and dont have time, money or access to an SR5 cluster i am keeping the aftermarket Tach from my 3.0. Question is, where oh where do i hook up the tach to the 3.4?

 

so this cannot be done then i assume?

 

Same way you hook the tach up on the 3.0 cluster, you wire it up.

Search as the tach and how to mod it are talked about extensively in the 3.4 swap section.

most of those universal tachs have settings for different motors to where the Oem tach is specific to that motor.
Also, as wabbit says its extensively talked about subject in the 3.4 swap section. Time to read some more.

 

Actually i was unable to find a post on aftermarket tachs thank you. And so all i needed to know was that i have to pin it where the factory tach goes. As it is NOT extencivly talked about for aftermarket tachs. Thank you and good day....*..
