Well last night i picked up a 1986 toyota pickup reg cab. with solid axle swap
it has 6 inches of suspension lift and 2 inches of body lift

the e brake isnt hooked up
is there an extension i can buy ? is there any product numbers i could use to extend it ?


btw i have been on here awhile i sold my 1991 sr5 for 3500 last night and baught this 85 with lift and all for 2000
it has a 22r
5 speed
brand new tires.
body is in decent shape

will be putting my baja fenders and bed here soon.

but if anybody can help that would be great

Why is it not hooked up? I have the stock e-brake connected in my '85 with a similar amount of lift. I did a few things to make it all work, one was relocating the e-brake cable down lower on the frame beside the gas tank to lessen the drop to the axle. Then I used a piece of steel pipe and a longer bolt to raise the pivot point on the axle up a few inches:



Than added some extensions to the e-brake levers to clear the taller spring pack:
