85 Tranny Swap

I have an 85 4Runner that "had" an auto in it. It is also EFI.

I just put a 5 speed in it. The problem I am having with the swap is, the ignition switch is not activating the starter. Any ideas on how to solve this?

The electric fuel pump in the fuel tank is not working unless I stick 12 volts directly to it. Any ideas on how to fix this? I assume I can just go to an ignition "HOT" but I want to make sure it is ok to take 12 volts all the time. A lot of fuel pumps have regulated voltage. Please advise. Thanks

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone.

Is there a P/N interlock switch that allows it to only start in Park or Neutral? Check the wiring diagram and bypass this... I don't think the fuel pump/starter will get voltage unless this is bypassed (on most cars).

But you "SPECIAL". LOL. What about the NSS? What do I need to do to get around that, and where is it?
