Sorry if this has already been answered but could not seem to find it when searched i got a 93 yota dlx v6 4x4 i have replaced multiple lines new master cylinder wheel cylinders caliper rotors drums shoes almost everything. i got a hard pedal but no stopping power i have vaccum to the booster everything bleeds fine just cant seem to get good brakes any help would be great thanks

 

Unless there is a line blockage (unlikely) you should have vacuum at the booster, that doesn't necessarily mean its working properly.

Are the rear brakes properly adjusted? The threads on the adjuster screw clean and greased?

 

You say you have vacuum at the booster, I assume this means engine vacuum. Have you checked your vacuum booster for a leak? Hand vacuum pump is all you need to test.

 

ok is there a certain way to test it? yes the backs are adjusted and i did grease the self adjuster how do i do that vaccum test i did the pump break start and it goes down i pulled the hose of and hear the booster relieve air any other test would be great?

 

if it is the booster is there another type of booster i can put on? i would hate to spend the money on a new one a substitue would be great?

 

The booster should hold vacuum when applied, vacuum shouldn't drop unless brakes are applied.

Are you sure the lines are completely bled? You can buy a one man bleeder that also has a vacuum tester. I payed around $50 I believe at oreiley auto. I assume you have new fluid? If the fluid is dark or rusty brown looking it can compress without actuating the piston/cylinder. Also is the pedal stiff in a normal way or in a binding way? Also make sure you have no lube on the pads.
