I bet he modified it to fit.

 

I mean, there is no way that looks good up close. He just hacked away at a plastic grille. Why? The proper grille is all over ebay.

 

Guess that's why you don't see this mod every day.

 

Who knows. Maybe they took their time and it looks really good up close. Just depends on your patience and ability I guess.

It's for sale on craigslist right now. 87 with 70k on rebuilt motor and it's 5-speed.

 

I've seen that type of grille on second gen. trucks before a few times. I actually know a guy who has one on his. I've never asked him how he did. It looks like it bolted right up with no modifications. So I figure it must have.

I do know one thing for sure, the cab dimensions where the grille mounts to it are the same on all 84-95 trucks and 4runners. So any 84-95 grille should bolt right up to any of them. It's the parking lights that don't mix and match. Notice that truck still has the 84-88/89 style parking lights.
