3.0 dies/stalls when turned to the right????

My 92 3.0 5spd just started doing this when you turn to the right while moving it either dies or acts like it misses badly. Here is some info that may help. It's all power, auto hubs, cruise control but no ac i pulled the codes it said code 14 and 42. All my vac lines are right no leaks the tps is out of adjustment (unplugged it to get me by the jolting irritated me) the speedometer works but not the odometer cruise control doesn't work along with the power mirrors not sure if that helps any thing.
Help!

Not sure if your 3.0 has vac lines coming off the PS pump but check those. They are for idle up/down while turning.

It doesn't die turning to the left?

I checked the lines they are hooked up correctly. I can turn left just fine with no problems. It's extremely annoying

What have you done about the codes? I'm not sure why it's triggered while turning right (probably a loose wire hanging somewhere that only makes/breaks when you turn to the right), but a code 14 alone should stop the engine.

I'm going to guess you have the cable speedometer (I've never been able to figure out who has the cable and who has the electronic), but with the cruise control out you probably have a VSS problem, and that's throwing the other code.

I thought it was elec. Spedo. There are no loose wires or connectors I haven't done any thing about the codes the lights not on its like they are old codes? I drove it plenty today and no problems only thing I did do was reverse the lines from the power steering pump around this morning. I do not understand the VSS and vac line mumbo jumbo ha so what do you mean a VSS problem?

VSS is vehicle speed sensors.

The vacuum lines on the power steering pump go to the idle up valve for the power steering, which means the engine will idle up a bit when turning. I really don't think this is the problem as many people drive around with it capped trouble free.

The code 14 is an issue with the ECU not receiving a IGF signal which in turn cuts the power to the fuel injectors.

It could just be a history code that doesn't concern you anymore or it could be your reason for the stalling, best way to find out is to clear codes and check again after it stalls.

The power steering goes right to the intake no idle valve? And what does the speed sensor do? I'll clear the codes in the morning and wait to see if she will stall again. Only prob with the code clearing is the battery was out for 2 days I drove it after that (while tw motor was out) and than pulled the codes 2 days after the installation of the motor

I've got a 1987 4runner had problems stalling out on only right turns, drove me crazy replaced fuel pump and still no help, checked all my wires and the were good but then I noticed that my Ignition coil was leaking a bit and the coil wire going into the distributor cap was all jacked up I replaced them both and it fixed the problem. I have no idea why this made my truck stall out only on hard right turns but this fixed the problem.
