Safari Gard Products for 4th gen 4runners

Hey fellow yt's, I just got an email from Safari Gard regarding their products:

-------------------------------------------------
First I would like to thank all of you for your patience during the finalizing of the Safari Gard 4 Runner product line. We are very excited to announce that we will be manufacturing our first batch of products over the next 8-6 weeks. If you are interested in products please place an order online at www.safarigard.com or give us a call (800)820-4273. We need a minimum of 12 orders for each item to start manufacturing. If a quantity of 12 is reached you will be charged a 50% deposit with the order and the remainder upon completion of manufacturing. Don’t wait!!! Orders must be placed by Feb 6 2004 or we will not manufacture the products. Once the initial batch is completed, depending on response there may be a longer wait time for manufacturing a 2nd batch or no 2nd batch at all. I have listed the prices for you to review. If you have any questions please feel free to give us a call.

Front Bumper $600.00

Winch Mount Included w/ Front Bumper

Superwinch X9000 $813.00

Hella 4000 lights $130.00 each

Rear Bumper $500.00

That said, I thought I'd offer this opportunity for others that might want one of their products. I will not be purchasing one of their fine products but I know there was a pretty good interest for their products. So give them a call or email em!

Good Luck

Hmmm.... VERY interesting. Checking their website, these products appear to be the same ones they had on the Global Extreme 4Runner they made up for the '03 SEMA show.... Good stuff, but $600 for that "bumper" ??? Ouch.

Lance, thanks for passing the info along !

Yeah Mary from SG called me today. I asked them to get back to me on the specifics of how all the parts mounted to the frame.
She said the front bumper requires some trimming to the vent slats-for 2 posts to go through and for the winch to stick out of.
I like the sliders but I am waiting to find out if they are XREAS compatible

Their stuff is pretty good, but a little to pricey.

Lance, I sent a PM about something else. Maybe you could help me with it.

Thanks

Victor

Firsttoy, I believe they are "XREAS-Compatible". That stuff was installed on a Sport version for the SEMA show. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't all '03 Sports come with XREAS ?
