Tire Rack Ideas on a Trail-Gear Rock Defense rear bumper??

I have a trail gear rear bumper on my 86 4runner turbo and i've been trying to find a good rear tire carrier that would work well with the bumper. i've found one at http://www.cbioffroadfab.com/store/p...roducts_id=117 but I was looking for something a little more beefy...possibly with an included carrier for a jerry can. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!

if you are considering having a gas can too (that is a ton of weight) i would make it double shear like 4crawler's.

This looks pretty sweet. Couldn't find it on their website though...

awesome! thanks guys. i'm hoping to get one done by August so I can go on a longer trip or two and actually carry some gear. I'm tired of having to pack around my spare tire in the back!

I feel that deathrunners is the best strongest, most stable tire carrier and Roger Browns is a close 2nd.

Do you have a link for that swing out tire carrier for the tube bumper? I'm trying really hard to find one of these

Holy thread revival. But here, this is what I'm doing with my Trail Gear bumper. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f199...er-fab-283732/ (not my thread, I take no credit for it)

sorry no link. It was built for me years ago by a local fab guy. He built the swing out and a front bumper on my old 81 Trekker for $225.
