Arizona Members: Who are you and what do you wheel?

It seems like the local crew keeps growing. We cover almost the entire spectrum of 4wheeling, from rocks, to mud, to sand, to scenic trail runners, and I thought it would be nice to be able to associate each person's username with their rig. Might help with organizing future trail runs as well.

So, if you would, please post a pic of your rig and tell us your preferred wheeling terrain and your truck's major specs if they're not already in your sig.

I'll start:
My name is Nate and this is my current rig. Specs are below. I generally like to wheel rocks and trails in the "difficult" level, but enjoy a scenic mountain run every now and then, especially when it's 100* in PHX.

Specs:
'87 4Runner
22re/auto
SAS
35's 5.29's
Front 3 link
Long's
Locked front & rear
F150 rears
2.28/4.70 cases
Bobbed 12"

My name is Bob and I work for the Toyota Proving Grounds. I started 4-wheeling in 2009 when I was asked to do 'offroad durability' on some pre-production 5th gen 4Runner prototypes. Got bit by the offroad thing and bought my '87 4Runner from a yotatech guy in Feb 2010 and have been slowly improving it ever since.

I like hitting the difficult rock crawling stuff anywhere that I have enough ground clearance with 33's

33" MT-R's, 4.88 diffs, ARB front, Detroit Rear, 4.7 gear set, twin stick, 1" BL, 1.5" BJ spacers, 2" Downey leafs + Deaver mini-pack, TG header, Supra AFM & K&N, Addicted Offroad front bumper, Avid Offroad rear bumper / tire carrier, rock sliders, Budbuilt t-case skid plate, lots of electrical mods, lots of interior mods, lots of 4crawler.com mods, and an Ammo can center console

Nice Nate! If I ha a computer I'd finally be able to update my pics! Haha!

But I'm Jonny an I mainly ride BMX, but love to wheel also. I do mainly the dificult trails, my rig is pretty rough on the highway. Haven't been out in a while but finally threw a new axle in the rig so I'm down for a trip soon.

I'm sure Nate has some pretty sweet pics of my rig *cough *cough

Nice rig Nate, you've done alot to it!

91 SR5 3.0L, 5spd - 3" body lift, 35's, and a case of flat camo tan paint

The names Eric and this is my lawn ornament, so far I've driven it home, parked it and have moved it in and out of the garage to work on it for the last year! I bought it to explore mines and ghost towns, no serious wheeling was planned. It's a $1200 project and it HAS turned into a serious project, just so I can drive the damn thing (someday)! I had to hardwire the ignition, fix the steering column, replaced the rad, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, belts, hoses, battery, quick release cables, rebuilt the p/s pump, pressure hoses, the DAMN PCV valve (what joy that was!), new hood, tailgate, correctly wired the radio, seat mech repairs, replaced sunroof, mirrors, wiper arms, bunch of other little shiz, halfway through the intake mod, also bought a complete front end set up, (it didn't have the frt 4wd stuff when I bought it) (frt 3rd, cv's, driveshaft, aisin hubs) AND NOW the water pump is leaking!!! Eventually I'll get to a point where I can actually get tags for it and DRIVE IT!

As it sits now:

This was at the sellers home:

Pete here. Specs are below, 2 4runners mostly Overland style wheeling for us. Always have the dog and a few kids with us so we keep pretty mellow out there. Enjoy exploring different areas of the state just about every Sunday. Somehow always manage to find water to cross....

Nice idea Nate!

I'm Jeff - 89 4Runner, specs are in my signature as well. I'm always down to go wheelin any weekend. I would say I'm open to just about any kind of trail...within my trucks abilities - which I'm still exploring. And when I can't find anywhere else to go, you can find me out messing around the Butcher Jones area; either trying to find an open way to the 3rd, 4th & 5th coves, or just hanging out in the water at the 2 coves that are left open.

Names Tyler

Slow and ugly brown 87 4runner, 22re, slipping auto w/stock tcase, 5.29's locked front ifs/rear busted lockright at the moment, 33"s, lowered the back so it sits closer to level.

Haven't taken it wheeling yet...had a chopped up f250 460/c6/300 on 3/4tons and 35"s before getting into Honda's...feels better being able to clear driveways and speedbumps again...

Hey, I am chris Parker, I like to wheel just about any kind of trail. I love going to new trails, meeting more people to wheel with and their rigs. I have been doing some night wheeling, so I will try to remember to post on here when I go out.

Great idea Nate..

Most here already know me...but my name is Ted. Some info: 97' 3.4L MANual trans and not much more after that. I just like to wheel and help other wheeler's when I can. Anyhow, welcome to those who are new to the site and hope to see you out on the trail. So speaking of trail, when are we gonna go wheeling again. As long as I don't have to get out, I'm good...my A/C works pretty well.

-Ted

Hey guys. Mike here. Im fairly new to wheeling, my 95 is all stock....so far. I plan on a lift and 33's soon, maybe some armor. I like to wheel through anything that is challenging, rock, sand and especially mud(even though its hard to find any in az...)
Cant post pics at this time...

I feel like I've seen this truck before, I used to live in Tempe right across from Hunter off road. My truck is close to being ready to wheel, but I'm down for runs once it is!

I'm in a 95 4runner LTD, right now I'm on stock and won't be doing much until I can get new tires. I used to own a 91 manual which I totaled. I died a little inside that day as I hardly had any issues with it whereas my 95 has lots of issues. If anybody can find some decently priced tires let me know.
