85 4runner front shackle rubbing frame

[IMG][/IMG] So this should be my shackle with the new to me ranco 44o4o's and it is rubbing the frame. from other posts I have seen this seems like a bad angle any suggestions greatly appreciated

Not much can be done here other than re-archg the springs. If these are lift springs and are a little longer than stock, once they sag they do this. The other option is putting longer shackles on.

Get a longer shackle.

Edit: Dam that post is over a month old...wonder if he already found a solution. And why is this in the test section?

yes I did find a solution thanks to 4 crawler I got 2 inch longer shackles and solved springs relaxed . And still not sure how to post even though Ive done it , replys are easy though.

this thread should be dead ecept for someone who needs it .
