Hello,

I have a 1988 toyota truck 22re 4wd. I am starting some routine maintenance and I was looking for a few answers regarding the tranny. I bought this truck used with a different motor in it than original and I think it may have a different tranny in it also.

I will be changing the tranny fluid...where is the fill plug located to fill it back up? Top i am assuming but off to one side?

What type of tranny fluid is best and how much will it take?

Also I do not have reverse lights....where is the reverse light switch/plug that comes out of the tranny?

Also, where is the breather located? I would like to make sure it is clear and clean.
