I would love for my truck to be a little quieter. The young man that owned thus truck before me built a nice hybrid motor for it with a huge cam (I don't love the lope), and I guess he ran out of money, because he re-installed the stock header with larger pipe adapted to it. Then to that he attached a cheap muffler and some pipe. Anyway this thing is pretty loud, it actually sounds like one of those Cummins with an aftermarket exhaust to me. I know it needs a header, and that it would probably wake up this motor, but for the moment, I just want a quiet muffler. Any suggestions?

 

if it dont have a cat id do a 14'' glass pack where it would be then a dynomax super turbo that should be quiet

 

I never thought about just installing another muffler, good idea!

just put a resonator before the muffler

I put a stock walker with a turn down on my 80. Ya quiet, just the way I wanted it!
