Bucket seat ideas needed

I'm looking to put some bucket seats into my 1980 toyota pickup and would like some ideas and opinions on what you think would work and won't require much mods. I would like the seats to fit in and still leave me room to drive the truck 6' 1" in a first gen is tight as it is lol, I've been to the wrecking yards in the area and saw some mr2 bucket seats that are fully adjustable and very comfy and seam like they would fit in with little modifications any pics would be nice

this was my idea. Looking forward to some other options. This is just a pic off google images and the ones in the wrecking yard are grey and a dark blue

I'm 6'1" and honestly just switched back to the original bench in my '80. Not sure what the buckets that were in there came out of, but so far the bench is much better.

I had/have 93 civic seats in my 79. They sit to tall for me. I'm 6'1" myself right now i have 91 civic Si seats in and i hate them. I would find a new bench seat and throw it in. I need to find one.

Honestly my bench is in great shape, I can tell that its been re done and doesn't have a rip in it but I just like the idea of throwing some buckets and a center console in for some creature comfort.

I'm looking to replace the buckets in my '74. The problem I have with the current ones is how thick they are where they meet the back windshield-I think the PO said they came out of a 80's model Chevy car. I'm 5'9" and they still push me too far forward.

I have been looking at seats from cars that either don't have back seats, or not much of one because they all seem to be thinner. I know I could find some buckets without headrests, but the headrest is much safer with a windshield directly behind your head.

So far the best ones I have seen are from MR2's, BMW Z3's, and cars similar. I imagine I will have to do some modifying to bolt them in, but I would rather have buckets than a bench. If I find some I will take pics and document the process.

I got some seats out of a 94 celica in my 80 yota. Small mods to brackets n bolted them down. I'm 5'11" and they are way better than the bench that was in it when I got it took less than an hour to mount the seats. BTW a 50 cal. Ammo can works great for a center council.. lol
