All sorts of messed up
Al right, i've got a bunch of electrical problems going on. I don't know if it's all coming from one source or if i have a bunch of projects to get started on. Here's the list...
#1 Speedo works intermittently. 50% of the time, it works fine. 25% of the time the needle stays at zero. The other 25% of the time it flies all over the place or sticks around at a random number. Ex. going 35mph and the speedo says i'm going 120mph. (true story)
#2 The door open/drivers seat belt buzzer works intermittently. When I turn the key, the buzzer either does nothing, or it does it's job...but only for about 5 seconds. I don't know if it's supposed to continue for as long as my seat belt isn't buckled, but it's never lasted long enough for me to find out.
#3 Digital clock works....yep, intermittently. Similar to #2, it either works when there's power, or it never turns on at all. OR, it turns on initially, but then goes dark soon after.
#4 The dome light doesn't work...at all. I do know it isn't the fuse or the bulb itself. Other than that, I don't have a clue. I've never had the light turn on.
Just a little insight on me. I know my way around the mechanical side of wiring, but when it comes to wiring diagrams and how much power does what etc. i'm clueless.

Just looked at your profile. You have a 92-95 truck. 92 was when they went to a electric speedo. Your dome light goes thru the door buzzer. It is a 3in by 3 in black box above your brake pedal. Reseat the connection to it and see if that fixes your dome and door light issue. Cant tell you how long it should ring. I disable mine but think it should go off after about 5 seconds.
No suggestions on the speedo, as it should be electric, just guessing it could be a bad or a wire issue somewhere.
