3-link SAS, 1tons, 37s -newb. Advice?

Ive been looking to SAS my 92 toyota and having recently came up on a set of axles out of a 3/4ton suburban, im going to use them! Along with some 37inch military take off tires.

For the suspension I was going to give the ol 3 link a try with a kit from Barnes

I still need some help figuring out ride height, up travel, and shocks/coils

im going to have $2500/3000 to work with total after tires, and that may include buying a welder for $500.

Now I am a total newb to the SAS, more so to link setups.

ANy suggestions for ANYTHING on this? I would like some help if you can! If not im going in blind!

Search. Read. Read some more. Use different axles and tires. Read some more. Double your budget.

Being new to automotive mx myself (I'm an acft mechanic) I have been considering an FJ80 suspension for my '85 Runner. If you are unfamiliar, it would be a beefed-up, linked swap that as far as I know has never been done. A VERY experienced 4Runner owner and member advised me that it wouldn't be worth my time. Point is, I am very interested in seeing where this goes...Sorry if I am thread jacking.
