Yeah, I saw that one. Its actually right down the street from my parents. Im starting stock (yep its gonna be a DD for atleast a week) and I want an auto (tired of my TJ's manual)...so that one just wont work.

Actually, the cars here (at least in St. Louis area) dont get that rusty at all. We get snow once a year and thats it. Most of the used car lots however have cars from Texas and FL..so they are rust free. HOWEVER, they all want $2-3k more for a car than on ebay. So I'll hopefully find one off ebay, but I worry that Im getting a lemon and it'll brake on the 600 mile drive home.

That 2nd gen is in pretty good shape, pretty sweet rig. If only Toyota made a couple straight outta the factory like that.

I wonder what kind of lies would the salesperson tell customers. "It's a Special Edition Badlands Trail Rated 4Runner, only 10 were made in the US, all the parts are factory installed in Japan."

He didn't take a pic of the inside of glove box or inside of the storage bins on the center console...geez :pat:

Yeah, I like starting from scratch and working my way up...that way I know EXACTLY what's going on there, who put it on and who to yell at if something goes wrong
