I replaced the clutch on my 86 4runner about a year ago with a centerforce II clutch kit and it recently started acting up. It drags the rpm down and makes a ticking sound when I put the clutch to the floor when its cold, the master and slave were replaced at the same time and it still seems to shift fine but I am wondering if its the TOB or something else. Also if it is the TOB does anyone know if they make a greasable TOB, the one I used was a centerforce 201. I also noticed my starter clicks sometimes so now I am thinking the flywheel may be causing the symptoms? Thats the one part that wasn't replaced when we did the clutch and I have swapped starters multiple times being as I have spares and it still seems to do it.
