advice on new rig

hey guys im looking at another toyota to replace the one im driving now. I found it on craigslist and i have a few questions about it. im going to look at it tomorrow and its about a 4hr drive so any help would be greatly appreciated. Ok so its a 1998 toyota ext cab 4x4, automatic tranny with a trd supercharged v6 with 127,000 miles on it with new tires, a fresh paint job, rhino lined bed the guy said it runs great and the tranny shifts good. and he wants $6000 for it. Ok so here are my questions.
1- in the pics on the website the odometer is analog and i have a buddy with a 1998 and its a digital so that looks a little fishy to me??? anybody got any ideas.
2- Did toyota offer a supercharger from the factory in that model year?
3- that price seems awful cheap to me... anybody else?? because it looks like a really clean rig and the guy im talking to about said it is really clean.
4- Automatic transmission??? im not sure about them because i have only been driving my 1989 for two years and its a manual so i know absolutley nothing about auto trannys.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

I just looked at an extended cab 98, 4x4, automatic Tacoma I saw for sale the other day at an independent side-of--the-road used car dealer with like 80,000 on it for 15,000 dollars. Now granted that's overpriced, but a clean 98 with the features you mentioned should fetch a lot more than 6000 where I'm from.

Texas might be a different story.

Approach with some caution tho I'd say....

Was the odometer analog or digital?

6k is really cheap around here. I know some of the 3.4 ext. cabs came supercharged, so it could be factory. But that is about the extent of my knowledge on taco's. like satchel said, look over it carefully.

I think it was digital, but I can't recall for certain cuz the lot was closed and I only got to peek at the car from outside.

it could be a problem one and he wants to get rid of it for so cheap, i just sold a beat down 97 tacoma 4cly 4x4 for $5500 no problem, if it was that good of a deal it would be sold already.
