94 fuel pump change out

I've never done it, but I'd start with reading the manual.
http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/1990-1995...e/fuelpump.pdf It doesn't look that hard.

Is it a truck or 4runner? If it is a truck, removing the bed isn't that bad. Start by spraying your bed mount nuts with PB blaster or something better than WD40 a couple of days ahead of time. Then remove the tailights and loosen the harness from the bed, disconnect the fuel filler neck, and remove all the nuts that hold the bed on from underneath. I used two ratchet straps to make a x across the bed hooks then an engine crain to lift the bed up and moved it back and rested it on the tires. That will give you enough access to get the pump out.
