I have a 1991 pickup up with the stock v6 3.0. I recently put some 33" BFG all terrains on it and now i notice the lack of horse power and mpgs...what can i do to improve my mpgs and hp??

I couldn't decide wether to cry or choke with laughter after reading that.
Like pretty much everyone suggests, gears. You could aim for some cold air intake setup and sure the dramatic head work, but the easiest thing that would give you the most results would be gearing, because that 3.0 is not going to spin those tires no matter what you do, unless you're in 4L without the front hubs locked

Man everyone is just too quick with the sarcasm!

a simple tuneup might add a few ponies... my 4runner had 31s stock and ran rough. I got used to the slowness in no time... eventually I swapped to 33s and did a tuneup at the same time. Felt exactly as fast as before lol. A valve job was included in the "tuneup"

and don't forget, just adding a sticker that says SUPERCHARGED adds 20 hp.

. You can either swap in new gears or put the smaller tires back on.
