14" ZUK spring on pickup-do I need a spring compressor?

As soon as I get my new shocks I'm going to ZUK my pickup with the 14" coils from Southwest Speed. I was planning on removing the old shocks first and then using the bottle jack method to spread the frame and the leaf spring. Will I need to use a spring compressor on top of that in order to cram the 14" in there? I'm only going to leave about an inch of the upper bumpstop which will hopefully make installation easier and also reduce any noise from the coils flexing, so that might help too. Just looking for anyone else who has done 14" springs-seems like most of the detailed writeups are for 12" springs.

14's should drop right in....no coil compressors used on the links below.

Just out of curiosity, which shocks did you order? I am in the market for new ones and want to run BJ spacers/ZUK coils on my pickup. I feel like longer-than-stock shocks will be needed/better. Thoughts?

Rear:
1999-2006 Silverado/Sierra 1500 4x4
Gabriel Pro Guard p.n. 61642

Front:
1985-1996 Suzuki Samurai
Gabriel Pro Guard p.n. 61549

The Samurai shocks fit with no mods whatsoever-the hoops are a bit narrower than the stock shocks-when I tightened the drivers' side bolt I bent the mount a little, but it's not making any weird noises. On the rears you'll need to either carefully press out the steel inserts that are pressed into the rubber bushings (I tried and the bushing tore) or do what I did and order Energy Suspension universal bushing part number 9.9105 and then do a little Dremel work to enlarge the shock hoop some. The shock hoop ID is .71" or so and the bushings are .75". If you can just press out the steel inserts you'll save yourself $20 and about an hours worth of work.
