Locktite? on t-case/tranny bolts

I just spent the afternoon battling the t-case/tranny fill plugs for my 94 pickup. It seems like someone put locktite on the bolts (or some other blue stuff)! They were a bear to get off and were stripped so I had some fun filing them down to fit a smaller socket. Did Toyota ever use some sort of blue threadlocker/sealant on these bolts or was this one of the previous owners doings? Just wondering if its still the original fluid... Anyways the contents were grim, nearly black in the tranny and so so thin in the T-case. Not even sure if it was oil

Good to know, didn't seem right. I guess who ever did it must have been so confident in Toyota they felt they never needed to change the fluids again
