Parked for 3 weeks now won't start.

Ok so I parked my truck because it was nearly out of gas, and i was out of money for 3 weeks. I got in it to go fill it up and it won't start now, just cranks over and over.
I have a question, how do I check if it is getting fuel?
I think it is not getting fuel because I couldn't smell any even after holding the gas down while trying to start it for some time. At this point the battery is dead, and I need to recharge it.
Clogged fuel filter? bad pump? Cracked line? Are those the things I should be looking for?
I have a webber carb, and its a 1983 toyota pickup with 22r motor, 4 speed, 2wd, short bed.
It was running ok before I parked it a few weeks ago.
To be clear its not even trying to idle, just turning over and over with no action.

Maybe it just needs to be "primed"? Did you try pouring a small amount of gas in the carb? Was your truck running fine when you parked it?

My 82 does this aswell, the fuel has drained back to tank over time.
As suggested, pour a little bit of gas into the carb, then fire her up.
Should run rough for a few seconds untill the pump pics back prime.
My 82 stays parked for upto 4 weeks sometimes.

Yup you guys where right, just had to put some gas in the carb. Thanks, also found a fuel leak I wouldn't have if I didn't have this problem. Its up and going and the battery is getting topped off right now. Thanks again.
