Should I buy this motor?

So I have the chance to buy a complete longblock from valve cover to oil pan from this guy for 450. He told me he bought a turbo 4runner from a guy who put this motor in and it had 120k on it. He is gonna do a diesel swap so he is getting rid of it. He said it was a 22r motor and they just put on the fuel injected manifolds I guess. Anyway, what sort of issues am I looking at in putting this thing in my 86 carbed truck? My truck is a manual and this motor came out of an auto. He claims it's leak free and runs strong. Oh, and he is gonna let me go run a compression test on it and hear it run before he pulls it. Sounds legit but I've never done an engine before so any advice would be awesome guys
Update: ok so this motor has no turbo, that was done away with a long time ago so i'm pretty sure I should be good to go. How's 450 for a price? Decent?

450 is a good deal if it has good/even compression and good timing chain/guides, etc. I would insist on hearing it run for sure. There is damage that could have been done to it depending on how they modified the setup but as long as it has all the accessories and is tight, go for it!
