New Purchase: 90 Toyota Truck 4x4 Ext Cab

Thought I'd create a thread about my latest purchase. Its a 90 Toyota Truck w/ around 130k miles. I'm the second owner of the vehicle and its in decent shape for its age.

Plans are as follows...

Get AC working.
New wheels and tires
Full length helper spring
New body panels (passenger side has dents)
New bed
Fix exhaust leak
Full Tuneup

On to the pics

Don't believe these are the original wheels...any confirmation on that?

Side by side comparison...truck runs quite a bit better now

Truck came with tow hitch, previous owner towed a small boat with it. Everything was rusted together...took a lot of banging the receiver out.

Interior was dirty...will take more pics of finished results. Cleaned, extracted and dyed the carpet.

I don't believe they are factory rims I could be wrong. Those plugs look like they have been running too lean but at least they are even.

I think you're correct.

For some reason I thought the wheels were made by ICW.

In either case, I'm getting rid of them. I want OEM wheels...

Those are the same rims that came on my 95 and I've seen em on a number of yotas. Dunno if they're stock though.

I don't think the rims look bad at all.

Well, I ended up finding out that the wheels are not OEM.

They say "made in usa" in the back...ended up getting a flat tire on the way home from purchasing a set of 4runner wheels.

A few pics...

The plan is to run 4 brand new cooper cobra tires on the 4runner wheels. Everything else will be for sale.

These came off of an 88 Toyota Pickup. Now, are these OEM? Haha...I purchased them for the 2 brand new cooper tires that had just been mounted.

Hit a nail...tire came apart after I drove on it for too long.

Nice buy, those black dont look factory but I may be wrong. Love the 4Runner rims look great, Love to get a set of them and throw some 33x9.5 on them and then use my 15x10 for 33x12.5 or 35x12.5
