Electonic locker on my 09 Taco TRD?

Hey guys,

Just bought my first Tacoma the other day (and I love it). I've been a long time offroad enthusiast. My offroad rig is 09 Jeep Rubicon on 37's. I bought the Tacoma for a daily driver\tow rig.

So my main question is what all did I get with package I got, I bought mine slightly used at 10k miles; so I'm unsure everything the package contains. I have a TRD package with the SR5 trim. My big question is what's in the rear diff? Is it a limited slip? I keep reading that they have an electronic locking diff but I see no button for it in my cabin.

TRD sport or TRD offroad?
To double check if you have a locker or not, look on the front of the rear axle for a big actuator with a bunch of wires.

it is a "TRD Sport" which now that you mention it.. doesn't sound that much like an offroad package.

Congratulations on the new truck

I believe you have the electronic (computer controlled) LSD. Basically, it applies brake to the slipping wheel in order to power the wheel with traction.

Nope. The "TRD Sport" comes with a non-functioning hood scoop, the "TRD Offroad" comes with the e-locker, at least that was the case when I bought mine a few years back. Congratulations on the new truck, let's see some pics!
