toyota OEM 4.10 has the 41/10 setup

Aftermarket gears are 37/9

You can use the 37/9 = 4.11 third with a OEM front 4.10

I've actually driven a 4.10 front with a 4.11 rear on pavement in 4wd for about a 1/2 mile. It's fine.

I did go back to OEM 41/10 4.10 beacsue the OEM gears were quieter than the 37/9 gears. My diff guy just couldn't set up the 37/9. He could set up the 41/10.

Toyota did make OEM 4.11's. IIRC they were never put into v6's either. I wanna say they only came in 1st gens and maybe even only 2wd's. But not sure on that.

IIRC = If I Recall Correctly. I don't see why the spartan wouldn't fit in there. As long as it's a 4cyl (2 pinion) spartan.
