Got a brand-new Engnbldr Street RV head sitting in my living room, and I want to put all new Toyota studs in it for the exhaust.

Having a hell of a time finding the right Toyota part numbers for them though - can anyone help?

Also - it looks like the upper studs should be longer to accommodate the air injection manifold, is that true?

I did too, worked with my downey header with my tubes still in place.

 

Are those the ones with the male torx heads ??

I could look back through invoices but have better things to be doing

I don't think so, those might be ARP or something.

IMO the LCE ones are better suited to headers which have a slightly thinner flange on them.

I just ordered the TG header (on sale btw) and spaced on getting a new set of studs/nuts. Odd - the LCE kit shown above has all the same size 10x1.25x50mm studs. The Toyota system shows the attached pic.

It shows studs and bolts with 3 different fasteners.

Does anyone know the thread depth of either side of the LCE studs?. I have a set of new Toyota OE parts that are 10x1.25x50mm w/ lock nuts from a different project and can use those if the thread depth is similar.

Its all together still as I plan on doing the job this weekend so the obvious question of 'what came out?' can't be answered yet. I want to get a head start on studs if I can't use what I already have. The TG flange is 1/2" thick.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

One there is only two different sizes on the 89-95 22re's. I cannot confirm anything lower then that right now, I'd have to look it up.

Two I had no fitment issues with the LCE studs in my 87 22r.

Three that above photo shows intake manifold not exhaust manifold.

 

DOH! Thanks for the catch. Heh - I looked at the 17159 "bolt" and grabbed the image from the intake. The manifold appears to just use that one size of stud...as the LCE kit has. And good news is that what I have is the same
