2009 taco trd springs fit 3rd gen 4runner in front

3RD GEN "1997"

I NEED A LITTLE MORE LIFT AND A FRIEND IS WILLING TO GIVE ME HIS 2009 TACOMA FRONT SPRINGS, WILL THIS WORK AND GIVE LIFT?

THIS MAY BE A DUMB QUESTION HOWEVER I FIGURED IT MIGHT FIT SINCE TOYTECS PAGE SAYS
Eibach front coil spring kit (set of 2) for:
95-04 Tacoma = 3" lift
96-02 4Runner 3" lift
05-10 Tacoma 03-10 4Runner and FJ 1.6" lift

Cut and dry version, not really. It would take some serious modification to make it work. The second gen uses torsion bars whereas the 3rd gens(runners/tacos) use a rack pinion steering set-up. Now a puck lift may fit the coils in the back of a 2nd gen runner from a taco, trying that set up with a 4'' lift right now. Not sure about the coil buckets being the same dimensions though

yes, it will fit. someone has used a 4th gen 4Runner front coils in a 3rd gen 4Runner front. it's bit stiffer compared to the coils fro the 3rd gen 4Runner because the 4th gen is a bit heavier than the 3rd gen
