04 tacoma 3.4 motor and trans into 1997 tacoma v6 sr5

Hey guys just picked up a 2004 tacoma v6 A/T with Ecu and harness to put into my 1997 tacoma sr5 v6 A/T But I do believe there is a few changes between years just wanted to hear your guys Input and learn a thing or 2 any help will be greatly appreciated!

use all of your electronics. Use the 04 as just a long block. Move over all your sensors, injectors etc...

And intake manifold.. and blah blah blah. Use just the block and heads.

Transmision and transfer case!!!

Sounds pretty simple! And what if I wanted to use the trans and transfer case from the 04 I no guys have done it but they must have used the 04 harness or maybe not??
