Question Floor mat dilema any good ideas?

I have the Huskies which I love but I also wanted to keep my TAZ floormats on top of them since TAZ is my nickname. Only problem is the rubber mats want to slide around on top of the huskies. I tried a couple of strips of adhesive velcro and that lasted all of about 1 day. Does anyone have any clever ideas how to hold the two together. I don't want anything permanent for cleaning purposes(that and I hope to grow up enough someday to not have Looney Tunes in my truck)

Here's a pic of my current setup. Any ideas??

you could use a nickel size bead of silicon in each corner of the Taz mat. By cleaning purposes, do you mean cleaning off the huskies? If so, that might be too permanent, but it's an idea. Another thought would be to cut 4 diagonal slits in the huskies. Each corner of the taz mat would fit into 1 slit... like the way photos are held in place sometimes, know what I mean? If it was done right, not much gunk would get through, though water/moister would... not sure if that would be a problem for you.

Mark, that is a great idea on the laptop thing.
I carry my sons laptop in the rig to test if with the GPS, and it slides on the seat.

I have some stuff from Griot's I used to line my cargo box with and my tool box.
I'll have to try it out.

You might be able to use velcro strips to stick them together. I bought some for my truck at Home Depot to keep my subs from sliding.

How about having the Taz airbrushed on them and then clear coat it? Or how about some high quality vinyl decals instead?

TAZ

This is kinda permanent to your mats, but not your vehicle: Cut out the Taz medallions from the top mat, and recess the logo into the Husky's. You can use Black RTV silicone (Permatex Brand from autoparts store) to hold the logo in place.

I used to have smiley face mats in my truck. After getting a new dash kit and doing an interior makeover, I made these mats. These gave my interior a whole tough new look. The picture is small so I hope you can see them. I am also looking to make a larger mat for the cargo.
