Maglite Holder Pic
#1
Just wanted to throw this picture up...someone else had something exactly like this and after I saw it, I HAD to have it! Can't remember who though. The mount was like 5 bucks shipped on amazon.

I picked up some of those clips at Home Depot. They may have been 3 or 4 bucks. I put mine on the tranny tunnel on the passenger's side-real estate on my side is hard to come by.

ive wanted these for years, and have been searching everywhere!!! i did, however, use flat stock alluminum and make a bracket that held my maglite on the door of my 85. i still want a "legit" one though!!

And if you ever get in an accident, you can expect to have a Mag-Light shaped torpedo shooting around the inside of your rig.
I've got some of those, too, but never installed them because I wouldn't trust them to hold anything in the event of an accident.
Edit: to be constructive, you'd be better off with something like a LiteGrip mount, or something along those lines.

I gave up on maglites a few ages ago. I never had one that would work past a year. Repalce all batteries, replace the bulb and clean up the contacts and still as dim as that fat cow from the dixie chicks.
Surefire FTW! Its so small I could store it in my sock yet it puts out 10x the light any 5 D cell Maglite has ever produced.

That's strange I have had a 3 cell mag light for well over 20 years. Made the mistake of damaging the reflector trying to clean it, contacted the company to price a new one and they shipped me one free of charge. The batteries make a big difference, the cheap batteries are bad to leak and will cause the parts to corrode up.

ive had that same problem. i dont use maglites all so often, but i'd still turn them on about once a month to check the batteries, oil the orings, etc. but everytime i actually need them, they dont wanna work. ive been through 3 now and they all just done quit, and none of them lasted over a year.
i have a 6dcell maglite in the one farm truck, thats well over 10yrs. old and that works everytime, getting quite dim but it works. i wish the 4 and 5 cells would be as reliable, i like that size alot better

I hate talking to people with those little bright headlamps on. They always forget they have them on and end up blinding me ha...
