Fresh air intake hose

I have an 86 toyota p/u 22r, having trouble locating a replacement fresh air intake hose from the top of valve cover to the top of air cleaner, Anyone who knows this truck , they have 2 different diameters sizes on the ends. Cant find anywhere around here. Any ideas where I might be abble to locate or purchase or am I gonna have to manufacture something? tired of the oil blowing out of the top of my valve cover.

Have you tried a Toyota dealer parts counter?

Hey Marmot,

....look up dealerdirectparts.com and give them a call on the number on their site. They can keep ya on hold now and then, but that's only cuz they're calling the main parts warehouse to talk to the techs there... VERY good prices, and they'll send you a link of the diagram of the part once they find it, then verify your VIN, etc., and then they will order it for ya. ......and I know what you mean on the hoses... Mines a 22re, but there are a FEW like that for the IACV, etc. I ended up just getting all OEM stuff pretty cheap from them and the dealer and REALLY good quality hoses, all perfect fit and bent to order, ya know?.

Couldn't be more than 17$ or so at the dealer, especially if you bring a print out of one from a site like dealerdirectparts.com. There are others, toyotapartsonline.com, etc., .... whatever is clever for you.

Are you talking about the one that goes from the PCV valve to the aircleaner?

In any case the dealer can be the best option for these specially shaped fiddle-y bits of hose, you get the right fit and they are'nt usually all that expensive.
