Fresh trail armor, for me! :)
i had a buddy of mine build up some rock sliders, a front bumper and a rear bumper for me. and i think it turned out pretty well. thought i'd share with some of ya fellas.

then i got some paint on the rear and sides. still need to paint the front. but i had a wheeling trip so it got postponed until next weekend. hopfully nice enough to paint outside.

mounted up my turn signals behind the bumper and away from the rocks.

then i welded on some d-links on the front. if you tilt your head a little there straight. lol thats my handy work.

on the stinger i wanna get some mesh well plate like kinda stuff with round holes to just fill in the empty front. and protect it just a little bit but allow air flow. so i need to get down to the local steel mill to see what i can find.
thanks nick! glad ya like it! i got some pics of it in action. but i need a buddy to burn it on a disk for me. got some pretty good use out of it yesterday. and saturday when i pre-ran a trail for yesterday.

the rear is welded to square tubing welded to my frame and it actually curves up to the very back. i should get pics of that too. looks really smooth flowing. and gave me some clearance that i was after. left the front as a bolt on and added brackets to the lower frame to help keep it from wrapping upwards if i went head on with a tree/rock.
doooo it man! totally worth it. it was like care free wheeling last weekend. and with the sagging rear brought back to normal height everything went well. i got tired of breaking tail lights and bashing in my rusted panels. so i invested in these. so far there holding up very well.

wish i would have had paint on them before i let it sit out in the rain

but the paint helped. along with some scotch brite.

lol ^^ no doubt. it was going to be slanted even more inward. the ones he made really hope in. but i didn't like that style a whole lot. so we tried to level them out a little bit with the body lines. but it still turned out kinda slanted. and i actually dig it alot.
Thanks for all the comments guys. here's a video of it standing up to a tree. lol a little one. i just didn't turn fast enough. =P
