Will a 94 4runner Rear axle shaft fit a 2000 4runner rear housing?

Will a 94 4runner Rear axle shaft fit a 2000 4runner rear housing?
I have a 2000 4runner with rear bearings going out. I have rear axles out of a 1994 4Runner that I had parted out and had these left over.
My question is before I tear into the 2000 is if the axle shafts from the 94 will fit the 2000. Both rigs have open diffs.
If anybody has done this could you please chime in and let me know.
