Auto tranny shifts question

I recently did up a motor with cams and ported all intakes/exhaust. I am getting big power up past 5000 rpms , but the tranny stays in gear past that and I want it to shift no more than 5200 . Is there a way to make it always shift no more than 5200 or maybe trick it and shift manually. Will this throw any codes...?
The main problem is kicking it down on the freeway. When skinny pedal is on the floor, I have to let off the gas to get it to kick down, put the pedal back to the floor, and it kicks back down again. I just want full power in top gear past 70mph/120kph without it kicking down.
