ive been thinking about putting the daystar 1.25" spacer

on top of my OME 881 springs and 10mm spacers
creating about 3.5-3.75" of lift on the front.
or i could switch out the 10mm for the other half 1.25"
maybee it will be a little less lift when i get my plate style winch bumper made.
will this be too much?

You never want to stack a spacer lift on top of a another form of lift, puts too much stress on your upper BJ's. Get adjustable coilovers if you want to crank things up a little higher.

Maxing out/ breaking ball joints and putting too must angle on the cv's. You'll kill the boots AND probably over extend them at the same time.

If you want more lift go with a small body lift.

Anything over 3" is not recommended for a 4Runner by anyone who actually knows what they're doing- the reason being the angles of the CV joints and Upper Ball Joints.
If you want more than 3" go with a small body lift.

But remember- regardless if you're driving it on the street or doing serious off-roading, LOW CENTER OF GRAVITY is the key. Unless you drive an American pickup and live in the south, there's no reason for 28 inches of lift.

i already have a 2" bodylift

i was pretty sure that 3" was about the limit, thats why i'm asking to make sure

but i know there are guys running more

also confused about the whole coil-over vs. spring/spacer statement if 3.5" is too much, it shouldnt matter how you get there, too much is too much, right?

i have an older runner with a 4" trailmaster lift, works well, and 28" of lift sounds pretty cool to me!! haha chicks would love that!
