Usually driver's side, next to the reverse light switch. Which is the switch? The only thing on the side of the trans. with wires hooked to it.

Red = fill
Green = drain
Blue = reverse

Back of the t-case:

I have the Front Range t-case x=member, but the big hole in it is for the fill plug, just below and to the right of the speedo cable.

sucked in some water, probably thru the Vent

I would fill, drive around slowly in 4 wheel drive and drain, refill and call it good

Typically no separate vent on the earlier t-cases, they vent through the shifter base. If the boots are torn up, especially the inner most one that covers the base of the shifter, water kicked up from the road can get in from above. Happened to a buddy's rear case.
