$125 used w/ helmet. Supposedly used once.

Don't know how to weld, supposedly does 16 ga to 1/4". Good for a starter welder? Good price?

more of a self taught welder myself, dont know as much as the pro's but i would do it...i bought my mig welder ( i had a lincoln before that but it took a crap) from harbor freight (yes i know, harbor freight is a bunch of crap) for $100. so if you figure a p.o.s welder is 100 and everybody knows lincoln welders are top of the line, 125 sounds like a great price, even if it isnt the prettiest thing, or its been beat up some i would do it.
