San Diego Toyota parts / auto wreckers
#1
Howdy all. I know this has been gone over somewhere before, but where in San Diego, California are Toyota parts joints?
I have a 95 4Runner with the 3.slow, and will be doing the conversion to the 3.4, maybe even with an S/C.
Anyways, I have found that doing a search for anything Toyota parts or auto wreckers/ disassemblers turns up lots and lots of crappy sites with no info at all, just ads.
Can anybody help me? I know there are places up north in CA, but it would be nicer to have a place locally.
THANKS!

Hey FireMan!
Nice to see another San Diegan!
I'll have to check but I found one a little while ago in the yellow pages. I forgot where I was looking though... I might have found it under Toyota, believe it or not.
I'll check at work and let you know if I find anything!

There is a mini truck wrecking yard under the Coronado bridge in Logan. There is also a place called A-Z on 32nd Street in National City by the Naval Base. Otherwise head down to Energy Road and other parts of Brown Field where the other wrecking yards are.

Cool guys. After posting, I remembered that green flashy thingy up in the top, whoops.
Still, thanks for the info. Do you guys get to go wheelin much/some/none?
I sometimes run the SCORE course in Baja to Erendira. Just the part from Santo Tomas though. After every time I do it, I end up upgrading stuff.
Where in SD can we go wheel?

We have a trip planned for the 28th. Check out the trip planning section. There are a few of us that get together here to go wheeling. Sometimes we go to a fun trail up near Alpine on sunday afternoon.
