Steering, susp. and brake upgrade 93 4runner...
I ordered parts to replace my idler arm, tie rod ends, brake rotors and pads, stainless brake lines, shocks and springs, urethane bumpstops and a kit for the front, torsion bars, steering stabilizer. Everything should be here by Friday.
I was going to have the work done in a shop. But I work as a contractor for Verizon and we have been on a freeze for ten days. So I have some free time to do it myself now.
I'm headed to Harbor Freight to pick up a few things.
Should I replace anything else while I have this all apart?

if you're ready to replace the rotors are you sure you know what is involved? Re packing the bearings, setting the pre-load, 54mm socket, so on and so forth? Just making sure you don't get in over your head. Start researching the things i mentioned now instead of running into them later without any idea of what you're dealing with. i looked at your tool pic and if i'm not mistaken get a puller, or pickle fork the remove the tie rods and idler arm and use anti seize when installing tie rods. also if the hubs on your toyota are manual look into the cone washers as well. I can't tell but it looks like you have torsion bars to install as well. Might look into them and their hardware as well. This isn't to be harsh just from experience. Good luck.

Yea I already scratched the rotors for another day. I'm trying to get the tie rods, idler arm, and new steering stabilizer on tonight. I'm gonna wait until I get some manual hubs to do the rest....

Puts another 1 1/2" between your upper a-arms and your upper balljoints. The torsion bars are connected to the upper a-arms, so it's a couple inches of lift without making the ride any stiffer. It's really no harder on your steering components than cranking your torsions. The only thing it could be harder on is your cv joints. I had to shim my droop stop a little bit to keep my cv's from binding at full droop, but I'm thinking of lowering the diff some now.
