I had to replace the 8mm id bypass hose on the back of my engine last week and must have snapped the nipples off of the sensor next to it that has 2 vac lines going to it... One goes to the purge side of the charcoal canister, the other to a line on the driver’s side of the intake. Does anyone know what this sensor is called, what it does and if its OK to run my truck with the 2 hoses broke off till I get one? I tried to get a picture but cant get the camera back in there. From the front of my truck facing the windshield its on the left side of the bank of sensors on the rear of the engine. Its a 1988 3.0 3vze 4x4 automatic pickup if that helps... Thanks!
