Broken ground wire location??

Broken ground wire location??

I found this broken ground wire on my firewall right behind the valve cover and cant tell where it used to connect to..anyone recognize? its the kinda out of focus wire in the pic grounded to the firewall, and the other pic is just the broken end of it.

there is a plate on the back of the head for the EGR passage, the other side of that wire is connected to one of those bolts. If you can't get to it, you can bolt it to engine lift hook that is at the back of the engine as well.

Ahh thanks man, Just couldnt see it. its just an extra engine to body ground then..cool thanks

yea, but I would definitely hook that thing up, as the grounds on these trucks aren't the best to begin with.

That ground back there is so little I can`t see that it does much.

Other than the ECU ground on the intake manifold and headlights etc I just have 2 major grounds in the engine compartment one to a inner fender bolt and one to the engine block.

This is about the first thing I do to these vehicles upgrade the grounds.

I run a couple of extra ground in ALL my vehicles. Subaru has had problems with marginal grounds also.
